Key Dates for the Year
Wednesday 1st September - Teaching Training Day (No children in school)
Thursday 2nd September - First day of term.
Wednesday 20th October - Last day of term.
How to help at home
Please continue to support your child with their homework.
Homework consists of:
Reading
Please read with your child at least 3 times a week and then record this in their reading record.
Mathematics
Please login to the ttRockstars website and complete the activities that have been set by your teacher. Do not forget that once you have completed them you can continue your learning by playing some of the other games.
. Please start learning your 3, 4 and 8 times tables.
Spellings
Please practise spellings using the look, write, cover, check and make a sentence using each word activity. These are given out on a Friday and then the children are tested on the following Friday.
Important Reminders
Children are to come in wearing their PE kits on a Tuesday and Thursday.
During the rest of the week, please ensure that the children are wearing weather appropriate uniform and shoes/trainers as they will be going out every day to walk/run a mile.
