St Mary's C of E Primary School & Nursery

We have been inundated with food and produce in this year's harvest collection - so much thanks goes to our parents, carers and children who have been so generous! As you can see from the photographs, there was hardly room left in our technology room at school and plenty more was taken down to St Mary's church on Monday for the harvest festival itself. With all the wonderful parental helpers, we calculated that there were over 400 of us in the church to deliver our harvest gifts, sing hymns and join in with Reverend Ian's sermon. We hope our donated food will spread as much enjoyment and sustenance as possible when it's collected later this week when it will make its way to the Purton Senior Citizen Lunch Club as well as Swindon Food Bank, who we regularly support.
