St Mary's C of E Primary School & Nursery

On Tuesday, the day started with an exciting turn as the children were led down to the assembly hall to be sorted into one of four houses: Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. We were amazed when the sorting hat appeared to talk by itself, as if by magic! After the sorting, Professor Biddle, Lord Voldemort, Professor McGonagall and Hagrid then led the house groups to their lessons for the day. These included Potions class with Lord Voldemort, patronus art work in Transfiguration, wand making and magical creature design with Professor Hagrid. After everyone had cycled around all of the different teachers, the children were presented with a Hogwarts graduation certificate, signed by the minister of magic himself. A magical day was had by all!
