I will float above you...

Wonderful poems by Year 1 children.

Year 1 have been inspired by some of Maya Angelou's writing about peace and the first verse from her poem 'Still I Rise'. These are two of the children's own poems: Happiness Happiness lies around the room. You can hurt me, And you can make me angry, But I will float above you. (Written by FM in Class 3) No Matter No matter that you say You might try to get me to fall to my knees Carnivores fight like war But I will never do that at all Even if you don't love me I love you. (Written by RR in Class 3)
