St Mary's C of E Primary School & Nursery

Today, EYFS were able to experience the thrill of travel. Mrs Page and her husband brought in their vintage motorcycle and sidecar for the children to see, hear and sit in. This experience linked to their topic of 'Up, Up and Away', in which they are exploring different modes of transport to travel to a variety of contrasting countries. The bike has had the privilege of transporting St Mary’s old Head teacher Mr Tucker as he took the Millennium Torch into Royal Wootton Bassett, and has carried Mrs Page and her husband as far as Australia, and South America. It was an extremely exciting way start to a rather dismal day. Thank you Mr and Mrs Page for this brilliant experience.
