Quarry Farm - Take 2!

Year 1 find signs of Spring down at Quarry Farm!

On Monday, Classes 3 and 4 made a second trip to Quarry Farm. Farmer Cook and Sarah introduced us to the resident dairy herd, piglets, chickens and donkeys. We were even lucky enough to meet a new-born calf, and able to get close enough for a cuddle! We learnt more about the milking process, and that the milk is sent off to make Cadbury's chocolate; Miss Bond and Mrs Hills favourite! We really enjoyed our walk to and from the farm and identifying seasonal changes since our visit in Term 3. A big thank-you to all of our parent helpers, and of course, Farmer Cook, Sarah and all at Quarry Farm.
