Two of our teaching assistants led a training session this morning with their colleagues

Mrs Southern and Mrs Howse disseminated the key aspects of the training course they attended two weeks ago to their TA colleagues this morning. It was an interactive and challenging session. The focus was all about maximising the engagement and learning in the crucial role they play with the children they work with on a daily basis. Questioning emerged as a key skill to achieve this and there was discussion about Bloom's Taxonomy, which is a key feature of the teaching interactions at St Mary's.
