St Mary's C of E Primary School & Nursery

Each class was treated to a workshop in the wonderful Explorer Dome, where the presenters did a brilliant job of teaching a range of science topics, from the human body to forces and the environment, in a really fun and interactive way. Then, for the rest of the day, the children carried out a range of great experiments in their classrooms. These included investigating whether it's possible to make square bubbles, enjoying the amazing (and messy!) properties of Oobleck, making 'plastic' milk and lava lamps, and problem-solving how to separate mixtures. We hope, once again, that we might have inspired some children to become the scientists of the future, and a big thank you to the teachers for organising it all!
