Road Safety Week

The school participated in a road safety competition run by the Brain Injury Group.

To help raise awareness amongst the children about road safety, the children were challenged to design a poster. Mark Tawn (from Davey Tawn Solicitors), who judged the posters, came to give an assembly on 22nd November and present prizes to the winners. All participants got a token prize too! Mark said, "Thank you for the warm welcome to St Mary’s, Purton. A friendly smile, kindness and a good cup of tea really lifts one’s spirits on a cold wet day."
