What a tree-mendous afternoon!

The children in our St Mary's 'Forest School' group planted their very own forest this afternoon!

Lisa and Elliott Kinsey from PBS Ltd helped children from the Forest School plant different varieties of trees on the grassy bank in the playground today. Each class now has it's own tree that they can nurture and care for. The children were taught how to care for their trees and the tee life-cycle was explained. How exciting that in a few years time we'll have our very own wooded bank in our school grounds! Many thanks to Mrs Southern, Mrs Harries and Lisa and Elliot for organising this project.
