Several members of staff were given fire marshal training tonight to help St. Mary's become an even safer place for our school community.

Ten members of staff (including senior leaders, kitchen staff, teachers and the administrative team) undertook two hours of fire marshal training this evening. It covered identifying and preventing fires, as well as dealing with fires in an evacuation situation. As you can see from the photographs, a particularly interesting part of the training was trying out the two types of fire extinguishers we have in school - under close supervision from a trained expert, of course!
