All Key Stage 2 year groups have experienced the 'Stay Safe' anti-bullying workshops this week.
Richard from 'Stay Safe' ran workshops with each Key Stage 2 year groups this week. In a series of activities and discussions, the children were challenged to think about their own behaviour and the behaviour of others, particularly focusing on 'bullying'. We learnt that bullying is not just one instance of unpleasant behaviour, but something that recurs, usually when there is a 'imbalance of power' between the two parties involved. Richard taught everyone really good, practical strategies for how to act and react if ever faced with bullying (or general unpleasantness).
