Well, the BBC weather team had prepared us for 'wet Wednesday', but in actual fact, whilst there was a fair amount of the wet stuff falling (as you can see in some of the pictures above!) it wasn't as bad as expected. The weather certainly made no difference to the children who have REALLY thrown themselves into the activities today. The groups headed off in different directions today to undertake a wide variety of activities: dragon boating, abseiling, mountain biking, surfing and caving.
We have a short 'corridor meeting' every evening before free-time and tonight, when asked 'who had tried something new today', every hand went up! Many rose to challenges that they initially thought would be too hard for them and all of the staff have been impressed by their determination and resilience.
The weather is looking drier tomorrow for our final full day at the centre. To keep up to date with our adventures and see up-to-minute photos, simply follow our twitter feed (@StMaryPriPurton).
