St Mary's C of E Primary School & Nursery

The St. Mary's Fishes did themselves proud at the Cluster Swimming Gala. The team of Year 5 and 6 children arrived at Lilm Kiln Sports Centre ready to do their best. At half time, St Mary's was in Gold medal position by one point. They battled valiantly to hold onto their lead, coming 1st, 2nd or 3rd in every heat, but were pipped at the pool side by 4 points bringing home a Team Silver. The girls swam home with three indiviual gold medals for achieving the fastest time in their races. Fantastic results achieved by the team, who were also praised for their superb team spirit and sportmanship. Well done St. Mary's Fishes and roll on next year!
