This term's big questions:
How does it feel to be wrongly accused?
Should we forgive those who do wrong?
What brings peace to the camp mates?
Our class books:
Holes by Louis Sachar
Key dates for the diary:
TBC
How to help at home:
Your child should be fluent at their times table and related division facts up to 12 x 12. Your child will be able to practise these on Times Table Rockstars. Please continue to read with your child at home and record it on Go Read. There are more resources to support at home on the Year 6 home learning hub web page.
Homework:
There will be weekly homework on the home learning hub which will be uploaded every Sunday. Encouraging your child to complete it will support them with their learning. Homework will consist of a maths game, spelling practise and reading.
PE:
PE will take place on a Tuesday and Thursday morning. Please ensure that your child wears a full PE kit to school on those days.
Red sweatshirt or cardigan - Plain red or with the school logo (no hoodies)
Grey socks
Plain Black joggers, plain black leggings or plain black shorts (supermarkets are by far the cheapest for these and also rarely have the branded stripes found on the more expensive sportswear)
Plain black trainers (no white soles, coloured stripes, laces or other decorative features) Supermarkets have a variety of plain black trainers available, as do other high-street clothing and footwear outlets. Online retailers also stock a multitude of plain black trainers.
If you would like to speak with me, please email the school office and they will send your message on.
Thank you for your continued support,
Mr Cooper
