Welcome to Term 5!
Our theme this term begins with looking at the voyage carried out by Micheal, an 8 year old boy who finds himself washed up on an island in the Pacific.
We will be using the topic to inspire work across all subjects.

Every Thursday - Swimming
Tuesday afternoons - PE
PE will be on a Tuesday afternoon. Children must have their full PE kits in school (please refer to the school uniform section of our website).
Children should be reading at home every night. They should be reading to an adult at home a minimum of three times per week. Year 3 children are still developing their vocabulary and comprehension skills which aid them in all areas of the curriculum. Please fill in your child's reading journal each time they read at home; either to an adult or independently, as children receive a reward at the end of each term if they have completed 5 pages in their home reading record. The reading must be recorded for it to count!
The school day starts at 8:50. Please help your child to arrive on time and to enter the school building independently. If you would like to speak to your child’s class teacher, please make an appointment as this ensures the class teacher is able to settle the children ready for the day.
We welcome any parents who would like to volunteer.
Thank you for your support,
