St Mary's C of E Primary School & Nursery

Whilst unfortunately the boys lost their home match earlier in the week against Even Swindon 3-2 (which does mean we are now out of the cup), they were successful tonight in their second league match played away at Shaw Ridge with a 2-0 win. Meanwhile, the girls' team had a fantastic time at the St Sampson’s Football Festival today. The St Mary's team were praised for their high level of passing, thinking and ball play. They drew three matches, lost one and won one. A huge thank you from the teams goes to Daniel John for coaching, to Mrs Broadfoot for accompanying the girls and as ever we're all very grateful to Mrs Lambe, Miss Palmer and Mrs Bounds for all they do with our sporting engagements!
